Connect with God

A verse you probably know in a translation you may not have read:

"God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10, Easy-to-Read Version)

Questions to consider: What good things has God planned for you to do and how is He inviting you to do them?

Connect with Yourself

Loneliness is hard to define. Many other feelings are often wrapped up in that one word. At the most lonely times of my life, I would've described myself not as lonely, but as feeling small and invisible. I’ve come to define loneliness as this: We feel lonely when there is a gap between the connection we crave and the connection we receive.

Do you feel that gap in your life right now? Many times our loneliness is unexplainable—we just know something is missing. Sometimes what’s missing is a sense of purpose.

Click here to read how loneliness fades when you go where God is leading you—my latest blog post. I hope it encourages you and meets you where you are.

Connect with Others

Is there someone you know who may need a reminder that they are seen, known, and loved by God? A text, a note, or a small kindness might be the encouragement they need. Who can you lift up today?

In case you missed it, I now have a Buy Me a Coffee shop and "tip jar." You can see the new bookmarks I created for sale or give a monetary donation.

I offer the most sincere thanks to those of you who have already supported me with a donation or a purchase. I emailed an editor this week to move forward with the first round of edits on my manuscript 🎉

May the joy of community and connection bring delight to your weekend!
