Connect with God

On the comfort of feeling infinitely loved by God, by Morgan Harper Nichols in her book of poetry, All Along You Were Blooming:

"For when you are broken,
it might seem like the only thing there is to do
is to head out
in search of the love of another
...
You need something more
to comfort you in the brokenness
when the pain is still tall around you,
to remind you that even here,
you are infinitely loved"

Connect with Yourself

We're about halfway through March, just 7 days away from the official first day of spring for us in the northern hemisphere and 23 days until Easter— the unofficial marker of spring.

Though we treat New Year's as our time to rethink and realign our goals for the year, springtime can also be a time to consider what we'd like to do, where we'd like to go, and who we'd like to be. It feels natural that when the earth is waking up, we also awaken to our dreams and goals.

If winter is when we hunker down and rest in the darkness, spring is when we take in the sunshine and begin to hope in the newness of life.

Here are some questions for you to carry with you into this season of hope and new beginnings:

  • What do I hope for this spring?
  • What growth would I like to see in myself?
  • Who might I connect or reconnect with in this season?
  • How can I draw nearer to God this spring?
  • What springtime activities make me feel like myself?
  • What would it look like to step into this new season with hope?
